I will never forget the day I had to pull my car over to the side of the road around midnight because the tears streaming down my face were so thick I could no longer see to drive. I looked up to the sky and screamed as loud as I could “I HATE YOU!”
I said a lot of very unkind things to God that day.
I felt completely alone. He had abandoned me; pregnant, with young children, married to a man who was an abusive addict.
That day was my rock bottom. That was the day I stopped being a minor character in my life and chose to be the Shero of my own story.
I would no longer settle for a life of chaos and unhappiness. I was done cowering in fear while the word raged around me. I’d had enough of hiding my true thoughts and feelings to try and keep the peace.
That day was over five years ago. It has taken a LOT of education, hard work, and yes backsliding and mistakes to get ot where I am today. I have transformed into a calm, confident woman who knows how to set boundaries and maintain healthy relationships.

Starting January 2021 we will dig deep into understanding trauma and C-PTSD. We will then move on to the three essential stages of healing. We will dive into each stage and work through how you can best apply them to your own healing journey.
Yes this course is long, and it is hard, but healing without it will be longer and harder. I know, I’ve been there.

In addition to my lifelong experience with addicts and abusers I am a certified Professional Life Coach with an additional certification in Therapeutic Art. I have put the time and effort into developing the tools I needed to really heal myself and know how to guide others to do the same.
How does the course work?
Before we start you will be added to the private Facebook group that is preloaded with some great freebies, including guided meditations, links to my favorite trauma safe resources, and a getting started video.
It isn’t all digital though. You will also receive an amazing welcome box in the mail that has some of my favorite self care items and art supplies you will use throughout the course.
Starting on January 11th there will be three live sessions per week. I will also be present every day to answer questions and give feedback through posts and comments. Every live video will be saved in the group so that you can re-watch at any time.
Every Monday will be a coaching session on a new topic/tool. You will be able to comment and ask questions.
On Wednesday’s there will be another live coaching session, this time centering around a therapeutic visual journaling project to help you process what was learned on Monday.
Fridays will be dedicated to questions and answers, once again in a live video. This is one final chance to work through anything you need to understand or process about the week’s topic.
Throughout the course I will also be adding new audio files and PDF files to the group to assist you with whatever topic or project we are working on that week.
